Public transport
The AlmencardPlus which you have received from us (only in summer season) offers you free travel on all public transport of the South Tyrolean transport network. So you can spend your vacation without using your car.
The Maurerhof is located 5 km from the Maranza cable car. The cable car takes you to the main town Rio di Pusteria in a few minutes. From Rio Pusteria you have the possibility to travel by bus or train into the Valle Pusteria or Valle Isarco.
On business days buses and trains run every half an hour and on weekends every hour.
You can also take the bus to the hiking paradise Valles or to Rodengo and the Alpe di Rodengo. Buses run every hour.
You will find the timetables for buses and trains in front of the apartment next to the brochures.
Maranza – Rio di Pusteria cable car opening hours: Monday - Saturday: 06:50 - 08.00 am, 09:10 - 11:50 am, 01:15 to 06:40 pm, Sunday: 8:30 – 11:50 am, 01:15 to 06:40 pm.

In the afternoon the sky will be mostly cloudy with some rain in the North, snow line between 1500 and 1900 m. Some raindrops may also spread to the Dolomites and the Ortler group, otherwise it will remain mostly dry with a strong northerly wind at times.
High temperatures between 12° in Sterzing and 21° in Bassa Atesina.

Widespread sunshine on Wednesday. As the day progresses, a few harmless patches of cloud will move in from the south-east.
Thursday a mix of clouds and sunshine. Localised showers are possible, especially in the Dolomites.
Friday will also be variably cloudy with isolated showers on the mountains.
Saturday will continue with sun and clouds. Temperatures will be in line with the season with highs of up to 24°.
